Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner on campus.
Give that kid a cigar.
We should be saying "this kid was a liberal" or won't be very soon now that he is experiencing first hand a real liberal thought-lynching

But maybe it's not her recollection of what happened that night that got her killed. Maybe it's her recollection of another night, another day, another affair, a different crime ...
Good job!
Uh, oh. He's been ticketed for protesting while conservative. Doesn't he know the First Amendment and campus diversity and inclusion programs don't apply to conservatives???
Let's apply fairness here. If it's wrong to heckle Coulter or Horowitz or GWB, it's just as wrong to heckle someone as repulsive as Eddy Kennedy. In condoning this stuff, we pull ourselves down to the level of liberals. I'd like to think we have better standards. Yeah-pass out flyers, use a bullhorn outside, send money so this kid won't be punished any more than kids on the other side. However, Teddy-hatred aside, the kid did go about this the wrong way. But then, he did say he leans lib.
The reporter appears to be trying to imply that Kopechne was "killed" by the crash. Instead, according to a diver who recovered her body, she probably died from suffocation after several hours of desperately trying to stay alive in an air pocket.
IOW, Mary Jo probably would've lived, had Teddy alerted police immediately.
No autopsy was ever performed to determine her exact cause of death.
Now why was that? Could it be the Kennedys paid off the Kopechne family to refuse an autopsy?
He came under fire for not reporting the incident to authorities until the next morning. In the interim he reportedly made an effort to call a family legal adviser.
AND, in the interim, Teddy tried to persuade his cousin Joseph Gargan to be the fall guy and tell police that Gargan had been driving the Olds. This is according to Gargan himself.
A mayor Quimby moment. "Get that kids name, nobody makes a fool of me.".
Good for him!
Them blue state brownshirts don't really believe in freedom of speech. But, they can rant all day against Bush and everything that is good and decent.
Trost says the cop took down his information and told him he would be hearing from school officials about disciplinary action."
In which fascist dictatorship did this occur?
Oh, yeah: one of our colleges...
Has Teddy ever publicly commented on the murder? Has he ever provided a lame excuse of any kind? I've never seen one.
Very doubtful. A truly repentant person would make a testimal of God's grace by taking full responsibility and endlessly express remorse to the family and all involved. Not done by Teddy Bare.
Nice sketch:
looks like there might have been enough air trapped in that car to live for an hour or two...
Picture this: you're alive, but in total darkness and alone, you know there's no way out, and the water's rising...
I'll bet Mary Jo's father pictured that every night as he tried to go to sleep. Bet he pictured her saying, "Help me, Daddy!"
But he forgot the cream pie in the face.
Wasn't there also considerable speculation that Kennedy actually had ANOTHER woman in the car with him, and didn't even know Mary Jo was asleep in the back seat?
I believe I've even seen her name; the wife of some major campaign contributor, maybe?
Kennedy was trying to establish an alibi because he didn't want anyone to know this other woman's name and that she'd been in the car with him.
Nobody seems to know his email addy but hopefully he'll see these responses on FR. By the way GOP's slim hopes for
capturing Ted's seat just dimmed: WBZ-TV reports that
former Congressman Peter Blute is NOT throwing his head into
the ring after all.
