How recent does this have to be? Shortly before 9/11, we were prevented from attacking Bin Laden because UAE officials were visiting him. I've read that several places today and I'm pretty sure I remember reading about that in the 9/11 Report.Do you have a reference for that? I'd trust it more if it were not just from memory.
