>>Bush passed gas! HE MUST BE IMPEACHED NOW!

Politically this is more than gas. Check out the Breaking News threads. This is live turds with legs.
Facts are not going to be of much help. Explaining global commercial practices ("It's just business...") is not going to reassure anyone---on the contrary, it's vaguely sinister. As they used to say in vaudeville (and the Nixon years), it is not going to play in Peoria.
But what Cafferty is saying is going to resonate bigtime with Mr. and Mrs. America.
Politically, this issue is radioactive for the Bush administration. No matter how wonderful the UAE may be. Just like Harriet Miers was a wonderful person. It's beside the point.
Furthermore, they aren't as good an ally as Harriet Miers. Their advancement isn't worth sacrificing the President's political capital, and Harriet Miers understood that. Let's hope the UAE has as much discernment.

Actually, I was originally commenting on the need of the whacked-out Demo-Left to obsessively want to indict and impeach Bush and Cheney EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF EVERY SINGLE DAY, for any imagined slight or "crime". It's delicious watching the combination of the Clinton impeachment and the Dubya knack for unhinging his opponents combined in a wonderful stew. The Donks come off like the Three Stooges every time.

Exactly. We're going to have to put up with cartoon simplifications by the Donks till January 2009, unfortunately.
