You know, you might be right. At the beginning, we were dealing with a bit of a "black box". As things are coming more into focus and we see who is lining up on which side of this issues, I am beginning to have hope that the deal is on the up and up. But, I 'll say that the the White House sure did a crumby job of presenting its case. And, with Bush threatening the first veto of his two terms in office for the sake of foreign interests... The whole thing was starting to stink.
"Knee jerk reactions", AKA, public outrage has had one good affect. It's caused the there to be a thorough review of this whole issue.
Even if this matter clears the review process in every way, I'll never feel comfortable with it.
