It's called "doublespeak". Deny, Deny, Deny! Duh, I didn't know until it hit the news. I am wondering just what the President is allowed to know anymore. We need a Captain for our ship!
The President is in a Catch 22. His advisors filter what gets to him to keep him focused, however, they can't know everytime what he needs to know and what needs to be quietly handled in the layers below him. Our country and the goings on are simply too large and complex for him to have his finger on the pulse of every item. The other side of the coin is he is and should be held accountable for the happenings not only in the administration but also the country.
Clearly this President is too often overly filtered. Like the clueless executive of a large corporation. It appears he was overly filtered during Katrina and now this. Plus who knows what other issues have been handled in the same manner. This President like to operate in a macro manner. There are now issues, even in the first 4 years that needed micro attention and now the dogs of being blindsided are yapping at his heels.
