"In regards to selling American ports to the United Arab Emirates, not just NO but HELL NO!"
Hey dumb ass Sue. Noone is selling the ports. The Management company that had the lease to operate the ports was bought by another company.
Who's we?
Maybe she will run for president.
Perhaps on a ticket with John F'n Kerry? UAE is a true partner in the WOT.
Cheers,
OLA
but I will not support him on this assinine, divisive, and potentially dangerous deal with the UAE.
This is a 'Rat wedge issue, playing on Arabophobia. Would you kindly explain what makes any deal with the UAE "potentially dangerous?"
Cheers,
OLA
Yes, no doubt their little brains have done the calculating on the new news cycle(s).
Oops, double post. Sorry, all.
No kidding. Stubbornness for the sake of being stubborn makes no sense. And the manner in which conservatives are being attacked for opposing it is the most disturbing of all.
LOL! Slick's mouse in the pocket IS the we.
Had slick took out the creepy relatives, the UAE would have rationalized "Allah willed" their demise for hanging with OBL.
Cheers,
OLA
LOL, well in effect it is and I doubt it will work. She has several things going against her to be the next governor of this state. She's a former mayor of Charlotte (they usually don't do that well in statewide elections..see Dick Vinroot) and Republicans rarely get elected governor. In the past 110 years, Republicans have held the governorship about 12 years or so. Beverly Purdue (Lt. Gov) will probably win. But at least when Myrick grandstands, she really grandstands...
This kinda reminds me of the hysteria after 9/11 when all airport screeners had to be U.S. citizens - I hope that's not where we are headed again.
Yeah, "Arabophobia" is being spread by Chuch Schumer and Michael Savage, uhuh.
You're right. She at least could have had the decency to have said, "Heck, no."
Even Democrats have found something regarding national security that they can stand up for.

I'm not so sure about Purdue getting elected. Lt. Govs don't exactly have a great track record of getting elected governor lately. Jim Hunt was the last in 1976. Then Attorney General Easley beat then Lt. Gov Wicker for the nomination in 2008. I also believe the Democratic primary is going to be quite a dogfight between Attorney General Cooper, State Treasurer Moore and Purdue and it might become a very bitter fight which might weaken whoever comes out standing giving the Republicans a better chance of winning. The state has also been trending more and more Republican overtime.

In 2000, not 2008.
Is the point not the passing of an enormous opportunity for fear of taking out his friends who are allegedly our friends?
He was out hunting with them as they planned 911. Now they get our ports without a fight...sorry I forgot America is for sale to the highest bidder. The ports of dubya-i. Has a nice ring doesn't it.
