10:00 a.m. - MSNBC
2:30 p.m. - MSNBC
3:00 p.m. - USA Netowrk
4:00 p.m. - NBC
5:00 p.m. - CNBC
I'd really like to see the US beat Finland in hockey. At this point, I'd be happy with a bronze medal!
NBCOlympics.com has posted a tale of the tape as it compares both teams:

If the US can generate some offense, I give them a fair chance of winning today.
I have to just b!tch here. Sorry to interupt your thread.
I am sooooo ticked at NBC I can't see straight today. We rushed home from dance to see Sasha skate last night and my eight year old and I fell asleep before she was on past 11:00.
What is wrong with these people???!!!!
Don't they see that their ratings are slipping because real people have to sleep? Many get up and work to buy the products they are advertising!!! I am hitting every sponsor with a letter when these are over to tell them what crappy coverage they sponsored!
Now back to the tread. Thanks for letting me vent.
I wonder if the game might be on AM radio or something. Streaming audio, perhaps? I know NBC is jealously guarding the rights to this, so much so that even on my XM radio, they're blacking out MSNBC with taped programming.
I truthfully don't know about radio coverage.
I do know that USA Network is tevlevising the game at 10:30AM Central Time.
I have been e-mailing NBC all week about their utter disregard for the public in their broadcasting of the Olympics.
I am taping everything from 9pm - 12 mid. and watching it the next day when I know all the results anyway. It has taken the joy out of some of the events for me.
NBC pack 4 minutes of actual Olympic coverage and the same amount of time for commercials.
For a class show, one commercial instead of four - at an increased price - made more valuable to the public - would benefit the sponsors because we are all so angry at the sponsors we probably will not give them patronage now.
I have noticed the chat people who fill in are decidedly busy giving anti-American slants to everything as well...
and the news which my local rag uses from AP makes me think some berk from Uzbekistan is writing the stuff.
It's all America loses...America are poor sportsmen....blah blah blah....
I think this will be the last Olympics I bother trying to watch, except if it is in Vancouver next time, the hours may be better if the network goes live.... but they will probably cater to the European nations and switch the times.
Bah - Let ESPN - invest the full two weeks in good coverage and drop these commercial loving idiots.
I didn't catch it all, during FNC's goofy Olympics coverage this morning, but Kilmeade was saying something about NBC doing a deal with one of the dish networks that may be now providing live feeds? You might want to check it out if you've got a dish :) Guess NBC's not doing as well as they thought. Though if they'd had a brain, they'd've offered live coverage from the beginning.
Womens 1000 on Eurosport radio now, USA Hockey live on the cable.
My guess is that NBC is providing live coverage for those with Universal High Definition on their sets, since it is probably an in house feed.
U.S. on a power play in the beginning of the 1st period. ......and it's about as anemic as can be imagined. They look real tight.
They are going back and forth between the Women's Slalom and the 1000 speedskating finals.
And a lot of folks don't have MSNBC on their cable, which means missing most of the non-USA Hockey in these games.
Good gravy. There are cable systems that don't carry MSNBC? That surprises me.
1 - 0 Finland. Team USA looks flat and tentative.
The US team has been flat and tenative on offense every game so far. They have been totally unable to get anything going in the offensive zone.
....and the Finns just scored a short-handed goal. 2 - 0.
Not really. ....they've been getting tons of shots on goal throughout the tourney (the Russian coach admitted that his team got outplayed significantly last night), but they just haven't been able to find the back of the net.
....and just as I wrote that, they score. 2 - 1.
That last goat seems to have injected some life into them. ....and it's about time.
