the ila controls the ports, don't you know...makes no difference whose names are on paper....

Folks, et al,

The ILWU runs the West Coast Ports, they make the ILA seem like a bunch of beginners. Read the history of the ILWU and have a real awakening.

There is only one U.S. Shipping line left to operate terminals, (Matson). The rest of the world shipping is done under flags of convenience. Most shipping lines hire U.S Stevedores to operate their terminals, unload their ships, and handle on dock movement. Having been on both sides of dock operations for nearly 40 years, I can tell you that the rest of the world has no real understanding of what happens down on the docks.
