Exactly. Pull out our guys for awhile, let them slaughter each other, then go back in for the oil already. Tired of this police business.

Maybe the Shiites will reexamine their past support for terrorists.

Bonehead comment of the evening.

I would pull our men out of this area and put the iraqis in charge of it for awhile.

Who in the hell cares?

Not me.

I would hope President Bush personally ordered the destruction himself...just to p*ss off President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

This is not a good situation.

It's a disaster.

The Shia have been holding back and working quietly against the Sunni extremists. Now their most holy shrine,(and they only have one) is a pile of rubble after surviving over 1400 years.

This situation is going to get unpredictable, ugly and very quickly.

Iran is going to pay dearly for this little adventure. Without any help from the west.

This is the equivalent of Israel blowing up Al Aksa.

This incident has now emerged as a worldwide Sunni, Shia war of extinction.

Fasten your seat belts folks and bring out the popcorn. It's going to be a rough ride.

One thing of interest.. Everyone says if we blow up mecca/medina and/or Israel plows the Temple Mount, that there will be 1 billion or whatever enemies.

This will be a good indication of exactly their reponse is to such action.

I suspect it'll be less fury than the cartoon wars, for sure.

It would be far less tiring, if you actually knew and understood something about WHY we are there.

here's a helpful hint...since you don't care enough to find out the whys and wherefores, just ignore it all and find something less taxing, to consider. And please, refrain from posting about any of this, since it is just sooooooooooo "tiring" for you to contemplate, as you sit, safe and sound, at home, far, far away from danger and harm.

Oh boo hoo..

The only thing of value over there is their oil and keeping them from getting WMD's.

Anything else is a huge waste of time. And no, free elections over there won't help anything until they lose TROP.

Not if you're fed up with all this religious crap.

The Iranian president had predicted the 12th iman would come from there...hope he brings a mop and a broom.

Nothing that a little Crazy Glue and some duct tape couldn't fix.

We can't stand for something that's impossible. Spreading good tidings over there is useless.

Oh, so antiquities are just a lot of old things?

An ancient, holy, religious building is just nothing? Fine, then we really should have bombed the Vatican, during WW II; right? The Buddhas, that the Taliban blew to smithereens, isn't a loss to anyone; right?

You are not only pathetically ignorant, but also beyond help.

And IF you imagine that you sound like a Conservative, let me disabuse you of that thought!
