This is a dumb and fate-tempting idea. The Senate should vote unanimously to override Bush's veto.
once the republican congress sees some polls, and sees that they are effectively "on their own" for the upcoming 2006 election - they will do whatever it takes to survive, and they should. Bush doesn't have to stand for election again, the republican congress does.
