The MNM is all ticked off for two reasons.
.1 The news of the accident didn't get out in a way that they could spin it before the public was informed of the true facts. They lost an opportunity to use the shooting as a venue for attacking the president.
.2 The Washington press corps are so full of them selves that they honestly believe that they are entitled to preferential treatment. They were ignored and the egos couldn't take it. The arrogance of the Washington press corps, and to the individuals who were screaming, is second to none. The President should go around them on every issue and release every bit of news to a smaller news source in varying parts of the country. Sooner or later these idiots will figure out just how useless they really are. There were legal procedures that needed to be taken care of and that is exactly what the VP was doing. Can you imagine trying to get the investigation done with all of the media getting in the way and making a circus out of the entire situation?
