I just ran across this thread. You may want to ask the Prayer Warriors to pray for this poor little boy.
What a beautiful little boy! My heart goes out to him and his family. Thank goodness this child has a loving family to stand beside him. God bless them all.
Please Lord....heal little Jake....please.
Thanks for the ping, Prayers for little Jake are on the way. Little kids suffering is something this old man has a hard time dealing with. If they set up a fund, let me know and I will donate to it
OH...my goodness, the pain that Jake and his parents are going through...
God Bless them...and heal little Jake as I know you can...and please comfort his parents and give them hope that he will one day be healthy and happy again...

Prayer bump for Jake and his family and the medical team.
Do you which church they attend in Bellingham?
May God grant healing to the little one and guidance for all concerned. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen
prayer bump
The post said he attends Assumption School. I don't know if the family attends church there or not.
Prayers for Jake going up now. Poor little fellow.
Oh my .. this is awful. Please, dear Lord, bring Your healing to this sweet little child of Yours, and wisdom to his medical team. How very tragic.
That's awfully ironic, coming from one with your screen name.
Big Stupid Government can't even get out of its own way, much less "facilitate" a damn thing with anything even remotely close to efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Speak, tagline, speak!
Goooooood tagline. Sit. Stay.
That sounds like a good idea.
Here's another one from 2/12/06
Prayer Request for very sick little Fla. girl with massive infection

Our thoughts are on the way to him!
If funding of a government-facilitated program is entirely from direct voluntary donations, and it is run stupidly, it will get very little money to spend stupidly. If we converted the idiotic Medicare Part D to a voluntary-funded program, almost no one would give it a cent, and it would have to make massive changes very quickly or simply be shut down for lack of funds. That would certainly have the effect of shrinking government (or greatly improving its efficiency).
As for these young families who get hit with totally unexpected, unavoidable, massively expensive illnesses, it's not like government doesn't end up paying a lot of the bills anyway (as it also does for self-inflicted conditions in people who never made the slightest effort to avoid illness or be financially self-sufficient). But for government to start paying, the family first has to become officially indigent, meaning for starters they have to lose their home if they own it, and have no savings. After they have been thrown back to zero financially, so that they will not be able to get credit/mortgages at normal rates for many years, government will start paying the medical bills, but only if the family STAYS indigent, thus removing any incentive for them to try to earn money, buy and improve a home, etc.
Thank you, BG, for the ping. I have also prayed.
