I say this as a Catholic, when will we stand up to this and give those who convert in places where they are killed for doing so the tools to protect themselves? The church needs to raise a few divisions!

I've often wondered that myself. Why not arm them so they can at least die fighting, rather than being slaughtered like animals?

We are, with Bibles, blankets, food... Voice of the Martyrs supports the persecuted Christians and they, in turn, share what is given to them with their persecutors so that many are coming to Christ. I know what you mean, I personally would deploy our military to help the Nigerian Christians, but deep inside I know that VOM is doing what's right and that's why I support them. If you agree with me, go to Voice of the Martyrs

I agree. In Catholic corners, we've been hearing about this since the early 90's, from Priests who worked there as missionaries or through work with aid groups. Many have been forced to leave. And some of us know of a Priest or worker who disappeared. In the Catholic community, and other Christian as well, we have been caring for years, begging the MSM to show just a little interest, to use their influence to get the problem noticed. Nothing. I don't know what it will take.
