The Islamic campaign against free speech continues to pick up steam. With the backing of the visiting High Representative of the European Union for Common Foreign and Security Policy, Mr. Javier Solana, and of a visiting Russian delegation, the Permanent Representatives of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Member States convened at the OIC Headquarters in Jeddah on February 14, 2006 to approve the following five points (emphasis added):

Here's where things get tricky. Most of us are functionally ignorant of the rules and goings on at the UN.

Can the General Assembly adopt binding non-sensical resolutions?
Does the Security Council have functional veto power?

What are the odds of all these "newspeak" resolutions passing? How can it possibly bind all "international reporting"?
What, if any, enforcing mechanisms exist?

The EU is assisting the antique media in its transition to the ancient media. I know a lot of Europeans and none of them actually read a European paper. The European papers have only two (not completely unrelated) purposes; inciting Muslims and lining the bottom of bird cages.

The UN wants to adopt this so they can move on to censoring criticism of the UN.

Today is band "Mr. Bombhead" cartoons.

Tommorow no pictures of Koffi Annan in unflattering environs.

THEN

No news reports about the UN unless it is reading approved UN press releases.
