The indictment says they were seeking funding, including potential government grants. Do they mean United States or Ohio government?

From the indictment:
On or about April 4, 2005, EL-HINDI met with an accountant in Dearborn, Michigan, to begin the process of creating a new non-profit organization that would be used to receive grant funds, under the guise of providing tax educator services.

I don't know. Perhaps both.

BTW, if it's so easy to get gummint grants, I need to look into getting me some. ;-)
