Well, good for you. Goes to prove that where there's a will there's a way. And I am sure both you and your son were the better for it. I totally agree with you about the public schools. Most employers wouldn't permit what your very generous employer did. And because the majority of children are not able to be home schooled, or to attend a private school, we must be ever vigilant about what takes place in the public schools, for the sake of us all. My employer is a prince, and the best of men. All of us would do ANYthing for him. Mostly we work our hearts out for him, because he trusts us to get the job done and is extremely accommodating. He gets more work out of us that way than he would if he were an ogre . . . so everybody benefits!

And my son was good as gold - sat in the extra chair in my corner and did his schoolwork (he was so happy not to be in that mob scene at the horrible school). Every so often, I would check his work and send him down to the snack bar with a dollar for his reward!
