Well, good for you. Goes to prove that where there's a will there's a way. And I am sure both you and your son were the better for it. I totally agree with you about the public schools. Most employers wouldn't permit what your very generous employer did. And because the majority of children are not able to be home schooled, or to attend a private school, we must be ever vigilant about what takes place in the public schools, for the sake of us all. And my son was good as gold - sat in the extra chair in my corner and did his schoolwork (he was so happy not to be in that mob scene at the horrible school). Every so often, I would check his work and send him down to the snack bar with a dollar for his reward!
