"I agree with you that globalism is a big issue with the Bush Administration. They are all for free trade and out-sourcing, often to an excess in my opinion. If this sale is approved, the Administration's belief in globalism will be part of the reason.

They tried to slip this one under the rug.

It's a lose-lose-lose proposition had they pulled it off.

Instead, only a lose-lose because now the conservative trust Dubya even less, plus the 2008 DEM candidate will STILL use it to demonstrate the GOP's "wrecklessness" regarding domestic security.

Of course then they'll (Hitlery?) bring up the border debacle...

BS, this deal has been known for months and is above board, it's only after your hero hillary started the hyperbole and her lapdog press jumped on did it become an "issue".

I agree it'll only be a "lose-lose" (instead of a "lose-lose-lose") IF Bush somehow quashes the sale to the UAE company. I'm still not sure he can or will do that.

Either way, though, you're right---the Republicans lose big time politically---on this issue and the immigration/border issue.
