It's about time, but why only 3 years?

His lawyer thinks it's too harsh? I think just the opposite.

What do you think?

"What do you think?"

I think you're a just the kind of person the new global police state needs.

He was an idiot but he didn't deserve jail. In my universe people who think Abe Lincoln was a great leader deserve jail time. Do you agree?

I think he should not be sent to jail for having a wrong opinion. I don't agree with him but as long as he does not advocate violence or commit such acts then he should be free to say what he wishes. No one has to buy his books, give him a forum, or employee him which is the correct way to deal with such things.

Well, either they laugh about the holocaust (as if either they didn't exist or are just being plain cruel). He's no different from what Muslims do as you can see here:

He should be free to believe what ever nonsense he wishes to believe. 3 years my ass that country needs some good old fashion American common sense. You don't throw people in jail because they don't like what you believe.

Let's jail all the members of "The Flat Earth Society" while we're at it.

Um... I think he is clearly wrong for denying the holocaust... but to go to jail for it? I think that is just plain wrong. Unless he is inciting violence with it he should not be going to jail for speaking what he believes.

I think it's creepy. I mean, there are movies to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Holocaust took place, and enough witnesses-- but, when a person goes to jail for speaking their mind-- that's horrid. A person should have the right to be an idiot. As long as you don't threaten to kill the President- like here in the states- I say anything goes.

As long as you don't threaten to kill the President

Or threaten to stone Henry Hyde and his family.

In my universe people who think Abe Lincoln was a great leader deserve jail time.

What would I get if I thought Lincoln was just "ok"?

There are other countries in our world that jail people for their beliefs, I never thought Britain was one of them and thank God America isn't.

I think this idiot should be able to believe/say whatever he wants, and shouldn't be prosecuted for being a moron.

He's been in jail since November. I tend to support free speech and expression even if the guy is an idiot. His big mistake was going to Austria where he knew there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
