Is is just me, or does something really smell about this UAE deal? Something inside me just wants to scream, "THIS IS WRONG." The US should monitor her own ports!!! Not some foreign company with a very questionable past. It's not just you. This is nuts. Bush needs to grab a hold of reality and dump this horrible idea. First, I don't want Arabs in charge of our ports. And second, I don't want to hand Democrats an issue that will work for them. What are our guys thinking?

Only 6% of the income from Dubai is from oil. The rest comes from the Jebel Ali Free Zone, which provides warehousing and distribution facilities to international and local companies.
No possibilities for problems here, right?
