Phillistone,while your advice about e-mails is sound, this letter from the mayor of Tall 'Afar is quite real.It has been referenced by commandeers in the field and has been documented as accurate by other freepers on previous threads.

I agree the e-mail is real, the title was not (Tall'Afar, not Baghdad).
Just trying to help set the record straight before the false version gets too far out of hand.
