You have got to read this entire article! I love it when Steyn gets snarky with the democrats.

So anyway David Gregory's going bananas and yelling "I will yell!" and "Don't be a jerk!" at the White House press secretary, and there's more smoke coming out of his ears than from Ronald McDonald in Lahore,

Mark Steyn is my hero. So much that it's my new tagline!

He's been in trouble before, poor Ronald. He seems a popular target, whether for Marxist guerillas in South America, anti-globalists in Europe or terrorists in the Middle East. Of course, he's an easy target.

Do the Islamo-dumbos not know that Ronald McDonald has super powers, that his 3-D plasticated Icon is not to be trampled upon and otherwise insulted with impunity? When Ray Kroc speaks, his words are as the Sybil of Cumae's. Yes, we have no porkburgers today:
"Who's round and jolly and full of fun?
Who looks like a great big Hamburger Bun?
Who's got a job that's simply a breeze--
No-one but the Prophet McCheese." (Interpolation added)
Has anyone else seen a tastefully rendered drawing, all chiarascuro, entitled "Birth of the Prophet"? In well-crafted imitation of a Rembrandt etching, it shows Allah as an All-powerful Old Man with White Whiskers (APOMWWW) in squatting position, excreting Mohammed into a risen pile of camel dung, where His Reverence will no doubt proclaim a Fatweh (sp?) to the the effect that, "When Allah has to go, He has to go."
Not much compared to Serrano et.al. but... it'll do. Here's a question: If "agnostic" connotes an open-minded spiritual quest, whereas "atheist" defines one of pure materialist/secularist belief, what would we call one who does not merely "disbelieve" in God, but who hates the very idea of a Divine Creator? They're everywhere, but due to linguistic oversight, no-one has ever characterized their Hate God faith. It's not Nihilism, not Satanism, not mere Marxist "opiate" claptrap. We'll have to work on it.

One can only hope others agree with Ignatius' insightful analogy, and that the reprehensible Cheney will be hounded from public life the way Kennedy was all those years ago. One would hate to think folks would just let it slide and three decades from now this Cheney guy will be sitting on some committee picking Supreme Court justices and whatnot. If Kennedy had any sense of shame at all I'd say this one would leave a mark. Since he doesn't....

Thanks. Here is another picture of what they muzzies did the Ronald. The swastikas are a nice touch. Sounds like something the Democrats would do (you know, everyone else is a Nazi, but not them).

This statue gives me the creeps.

On CNN, out of "sensitivity" to Islam, they show the cartoons but with the Prophet's face pixilated so that he looks as if Cheney's ventilated him with birdshot and it turned puffy and gangrenous. I love how his writing wraps around and keeps up the themes. He's great.

For liberals, feelings have replaced principle as the animating principle of our time. Two feelings are decivisive in today's MSM coverage of the world: animosity to conservatives and multicultural pandering to Islam... er, the religion of pieces.
