The source name (Drudge) was pulled because the article does not exist there. Where the article exists, it must be linked. And when it is your own essay, attribute the article to yourself.
I kept reading and thinking it was Scrappleface! I knew it couldn't be Drudge.
Actually, there is an article on Drudge concerning the intent of the media to keep the story alive for another week. What material they could hope to excavate, I can't imagine. I assumed that the average reader would understand that such a story was a mockery of whatever pretext that they may manufacture. Since the parady was apparently not manifest, I'll be careful in future not to assume.
