I was awarded the Good Conduct Medal in 1991, I got out in 1992 and still haven't gotten the medal. I never got my National Defense Medal either. The ceremonies kept getting put off and I finally got discharged empty handed.

The ceremonies kept getting put off and I finally got discharged empty handed. You can go to the following website, fill out a couple of forms and request replacement medals for any you were awarded. It may take them 6 or 8 months to get them to you but you can get replacements.
