Thank God the very honorable Rep. RON PAUL (R-TX) isn't on the list....although I bet the big-government neocons despise him even more than the Dims do.
Paul is always potentially in trouble in a primary. I don't mind keeping him around so that the Libertarians have a representative, but were he my Rep. I'd prefer someone more traditionally Conservative.
He's a Libertarian-not in the abstract, philosophical sense, but in the subscribes to "Liberty," votes for Michael Badnarik sense-and yet continues to misrespresent himself to Texas voters.
If people want to vote for the LP then they're perfectly entitled to do so, but I don't think they should be represented by a putative Republican who isn't truly a member of that party.
He's never renounced his membership in the LP.
