You should go help DU. Or is the purpose to bring DU efforts to FR?

Not to disturb your genteel sensibilities.......... but, if you only had had some oxygen at your birth you may just have a working brain. (just kidding --- don't burst a vessel)

Your comments are more than foolish. Here is hoping someone is at least feeding you.

My brain is working-thank you for your concern.

How do I know? Because I caught on to your attack on Hannity even though you claim you think he is a fine ole feller.

And, I have the ability to realize that every media person on the conservative side has different abilities which we hope they will use for our cause. Just because all do not tout an intellectual aspect each and every air time minute, does not mean they are not needed for different levels of the public, different points of conservatism.

While you - on the other hand - expect that each meet your needs, your views, your pet projects or they are worthless and you will do all in your power to detract from their viewership. All, the while, bemoaning the fact that all is lost in our country......our young will never know the great America......all is gone. What to do......what to do......no one to save us.

Be careful calling others dense.

I never called you "dense", sweetie. Check it out.

Is "FOOLISHLY THICK" better for you?

"Shouldn't that be "Vanitize"?

Just kidding, Sean just comes off as way to sanctimonious for his age and accomplishments.

He'd be better for the conservative cause if he quit, "the I'm always standing up for the right thing" and the others are not. He would influence more on the other side if he didn't come off (to them and others) as a self-righteous know-it-all. As he is, he's hard to take."

For awhile now I've been trying to figure out why I don't like Sean Hannity - and I think you've come the closest to nailing it for me.
Rush comes off as vain too..but he is funny and much more talented.
I also get tired of Sean saying the exact same thing over and over "3 hours a day is all we ask" "let not your hearts be troubled"
That really grates on me.
The way he talks down to his liberal guests and cuts them short bothers me too.
If they're brave enough to take their lumps on his show, he really needs to give them a chance to present their views.

Well, it's nice to know I'm not alone :)

But Sean still will grow.

I've been wondering about that. It seems to me that Hannity has an excellent market position at the moment. None of the other big players compete with him at least, not when they're broadcasting live. Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham and even Bill O'Reilly (who, while being very talented, I don't really care for) all finish before Hannity starts. So, I've been wondering if he were put up against some direct competition from someone who already had a following (as opposed to a new show started by a new face) whether he wouldn't lose a goodly share of his market.

Pardon me for saying so, but if you have a job, are you not in it principally for the money? As a matter of fact...I would speculate that most of the people who work are "in it for the money"..wouldn't you agree?

Of course Hannity is "in it for the money" among other things...like informing us of what's going on in the world. Its the job that he chose for himself. The fact that it pays a lot of money helps keep him interested in doing a good job so that a lot of us will continue to listen....(less the 100 or so Sean bashers here).

The only people that I can think of that are not "in it for the money" are missionaries that serve God in some rat hole place in the world.

Interesting thought. I don't know. All I know is that I can't listen to him for more than about five minutes before he gets on my nerves with his simplicity and self-righteosness and name calling.

Imagine what it's like to NOT share his politics and then trying to listen to him. Ugh! He's a simple, sanctimonious bore more often than not. It's a shame if you ask me.

Oh, I know. What gets me as bad, though, is his lack of intellectual honesty. The fact is that, despite what he says when challenged, he will not criticize George W. Bush, even for things that he would (rightfully) criticize coming from Clinton.

Imagine what it's like to NOT share his politics and then trying to listen to him. Ugh!

I can't imagine! Oh wait a minute, I can. It would have a feeling similar to watching CNN or CBS...

EXACTLY! That is exactly my point. His simplistic , name-calling interviews and never-ending self-righteousness would be as repugnant to the left and others as CNN and MSNBC, CBS, etc. are to us.

He serves to energize the opposition with his sanctimony. That is not a good thing.

Sean is sincere, good-hearted and well-intentioned, and he is enthusiastic about what he believes. He does have a message to communicate but he sure could improve his performance.................. or maybe you just can't teach a self-righteous middle-aged kid any new tricks.

It's a shame really.
