This point is worth writing to letters to the editor of US papers. Muhammed's life is whitewashed by the media even as they talk about cartoons 'defaming' muhammed. balony, these tame cartoons dont even approach the level of violence that the real muhammed engaged in.
At the risk of being redundant: I understood Islam when I finally realized that emulating the life of Muhammad is the first order of business for the faithful Muslim. And what an awful life he lead. The peaceful Muslims whitewash this horror show and exaggerate (over emphasize) the peaceful preachings of Muhammad. Otherwise the go crazy with a cognitive disconnect
