The people of the United States paid $5 million in 1821 to purchase Florida because Georgia wanted to control the Seminole Indians.
Forty years later they BOTH want to secede without concern about the fact that it would remain to the people of a diminished nation to foot the bill? Did Georgia didn't FORCE the federal government to make the purchase?
No?
Then tough noogies to the federal government for speculating Georgia and Florida would want to remain in the union after its Unconstitutional actions.

There were NO "unconstitutional actions" taken by the fedgov against the South. NOT one. But you don't like facts.

"Did Georgia didn't FORCE the federal government to make the purchase?"Let's see...Andrew Jackson invades Florida, creates an issue with Spain, and shoots British subjects, all in the name of the security of the State of Georgia.
I guess he could have held a bigger gun to the head of the collective States than the possibility of war with both England and Spain.
