Yes that's probably true, even though Lincoln was a great president overall. Slavery needed to end no doubt. But the principle is still the same.

inasmuch as lincoln, the TYRANT & subverter of the Constitution, cared NOTHING about the "plight of the slaves" you comment is POINTLESS.

the ONLY reason he issued the EP was that he feared the GB & France would recognize the CSA.
he hated & FEARED "persons of colour". his plan was to deport the Blacks to Africa after the war AND to "drive out or exterminate all of the red savages from our dominions".
