It's also a very big Jesuit University, so the figures do not surprise me. But jeez... Religion does belong at home, not in public school. And until the Intelligent Design people can back up what they are trying to sell with at least some *theories* with some supporting evidence, it can't be really considered Science as applied with the Scientific Method.

I have no problem with what the ID'ers want to do - but the fact that they want to do it in public schools. What I can't understand is how so much of America can ignore centuries of advanced science and say that Evolution isn't true. I don't understand it.... when you mesh Chemistry, Geology, Biology, Genetics, and Quantum Mechanics - evolution all completely adds up. Or at least that's what my education has taught me.

Excuse me? Quantum Mechanics?

Perhaps we can start with something very simple. Tell me, in whatever quantum terms you prefer, what the distinction is between a rock and a rabbit.
