I honestly hope to someday repay you for your kind thoughts.
To: Nothometoday
LOL! Just trying to help, Nothometoday.
Clearing the ears might have helped you realize that you missed what he really said.
Can't wait to be 'repaid' by you, though....

No need to waste time reading it, onyx.
It was DNC talking points all the way.
Like I said, there's not an original thought among them.
Unithought........monochromatic, grey nothingness with lies sprinkled in generously to make it even darker.
Clearly the work of evil, onyx. Have no doubt about it.

True. I've lived through 11 presidencies, and paid attention during 10 of them (the first one is kinda vague in my memory. :).
It does give some perspective, for sure.

The real shame is that our brave military is risking their lives and sometimes dying...for the sorry-assed likes of you.
And I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

I vaguely recall the tail end of Carters "Presidency", and Reagan being elected.

Of all the moments in my political memory, Ronald Reagan's election may well be the brightest.
The SUN came out when that man took office.
Very much the same way that the fresh breezes blew the stench out of the Oval Office when George W. Bush walked in. Great moments in time.......both.
btw, I wouldn't be upset that you missed the sixties and half the seventies if I were you. ;)

I'm not upset that I missed the 60's and 70's, I hear they were very over-rated.
Yeah, the troll finally went splodey.

When I think of the '60's and 70's I think 'dark.'
Viet Nam, horrible treatment of our troops, race riots, rebellion, moral degeneration, Watergate, then CARTER! ARRRGHHH! Talk about DARK! Malaise, gas lines, interest rates through the roof, disastrous foreign policy.
Then along came Reagan, and the rest, as they say........is history. :)

I'm not upset that I missed the 60's and 70's, I hear they were very over-rated. Actually the 60's and the 70's were the most incredibly fun and exciting times to be alive for many of us.
It was a time of super idealism, vision, rebellion and seemingly boundless freedom. We broke every rule and literally went wild.
Unfortunately the druggie flower child generation was also incredibly deluded.
The individual consequence price society has been paying for those years has been terrible.
Personally I have lost most of my friends to the loose morals and drug culture from the 60's and 70's. I feel VERY fortunate to have gotten out alive.
