Breaking on Fox.
Harry Whittington had evidence of Cheney fixing the Super Bowl.
Whittington was secretly involved in a hostile takeover of Halliburton, so Cheney, on Karl Rove's orders, shot him.
Personally, I think Cheney was at the ranch not for quail hunting but for an intergalactic convention of bipeds. The ranch was the only place large enough for extraterrestials to park their spaceships.
I don't think we can rule out the possibility that he has become involved in a mind control cult. Perhaps the press can do a little research to show how connected that ranch is to Scientology. And if it's not connected, that could prove how good they are at covering their tracks!
* I'll tell you what they will suggest NEXT.........They will say Cheney is a man who had finally come to his senses before the hunting excursion, and knew that the Iraq INVASION was so damn wrong, so he set out to sabotage the administration he helped to create by shooting his friend. (Yes, and they will wonder how a b-b could get all the way through Whittington's clothing and onto his heart from 30 yards......... the shot must have been from much closer.) Yes..... you heard it here first........ Cheney is a man with a conscience!
