I am impressed that you actually responded as requested, instead of prevaricating, although I see only ONE so-called "falsehood" in your reply, not in the plural, as you stated originally. Nor do I buy what you list above as an "outright falsehood." I don't need Cheney or anyone else to tell me that Saddam would get and use nuclear weapons if he could, and I am not naive enough to think he wasn't trying. He did use chemical weapons against his own people. The U.N. has zero credibilty with me and probably millions of Americans.
You want an example of "outright falsehoods," plural?
"Republicans have cut the budget of (name of sacred cow social program) ..." when in fact Republicans have cut the rate of growth in funding for said program.
"I did not have sex with that woman .... Ever."
"My husband is the victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy."
Republians want to starve old people and poison our children.
I'm sure other FReepers can add to a list of examples of genuine "outright falsehoods" coming from politicians.
Why waste our time. Never argue with an idiot, someone who does not know might be listening and you will look bad.
