Well....looks like racing on snowboards.....leaping over bumps....announcer says lots o contact! I've yet to see any, but wait! Opening cluster(?) touched each other. I'm NOT making this up.

OK, enlighten me. What is Snowboard Cross? I'm in work-n-lurk mode and will not see this until the replay tonight.Someone earlier on USA Network said it's a cross between Motocross Racing and Snowboarding, hence the name Snowboard Cross.

There are four snowboard riders going at the same time. The athletes are for most of the race very close together even when flying through the air after jumps. I'd never seen this before - its pretty intense.
