I find myself rooting for the Russian, too. Something about Weir makes me want to watch him fall. He's just TOO MUCH. Of EVERYTHING. Too Much.

OK, enlighten me. What is Snowboard Cross? I'm in work-n-lurk mode and will not see this until the replay tonight.

Oh, geez! Now Olbermann wants to know if the SHERIFF can be investigated for a slopy (in his opinion) report!

Here is the Kenedy County Sheriff Department's accident report (668K - PDF File) released today.

Well....looks like racing on snowboards.....leaping over bumps....announcer says lots o contact! I've yet to see any, but wait! Opening cluster(?) touched each other. I'm NOT making this up.

Someone earlier on USA Network said it's a cross between Motocross Racing and Snowboarding, hence the name Snowboard Cross.

I just would not want to part of a "cluster"

Supposed to be an adrenilin rush sport.....ok....maybe rename it Snowboard Nascar! I could get excited

There are four snowboard riders going at the same time. The athletes are for most of the race very close together even when flying through the air after jumps. I'd never seen this before - its pretty intense.
