It should be noted that in the case Jackson was reffering to (a broken treaty with indians) he was in the wrong. I hate when people cite that quote as a symbol of anything poisitive.

The judicial branch can't order the executive branch to fight a war a certain way anymore than the executive branch can order the judicial branch to render a decision a certain way on a case.
Co- Equal means one has no authority over the other.
