I think she is onto something. The obvious choice would be Guilliani. A sitting VP is going to be able to knock out Hillary easily as will the other pretenders. The alternative is to wait for a bruising primary and a possible loss in 2008, if things aren't going peachy keen. This hunting accident may have been a blessing in disguise. Use it well.

Seriously, you raise an excellent point there as to 2008.

I'd be pleased if they put Gingrich in the V.P., if they are, in fact, even considering a Cheney retire.

You know, Cheney's had a remarkable life and if he ever did decide he wanted to go home and fish, well, I'd not hold that against him.

But, being shown the door...nah, never happen.
