My general view currently is that the root of all of this is the religous teachings of Mohammed and the Koran, its not muslims so much as its the Immans taking orders from the clerics that get diections from people like OBL and the prez of Iran.
I think the US can live with a westernized version of Islamic faith like total equality of woman, no Shariah laws and no subversive gatherings intent to disrupt the way of life in the US, in other words play by the rules or leave.

The current events of the cartoon jihad is from my point of view an amazing stroke of luck for the west, its showing the world what islamic extremists are capable of and focuses attention to the grave dangers of allowing leaders of this faction nuclear devices. There is no way to reason for peace here, they literally want our heads, we cannot buy them off, we cannot appease them with polical gratitudes or favors.They are the same as millions of army ants that cannot be stopped.
While waiting and defending our shores seems like the rightous and humble way its not the way to overcome a war, no war has ever been won by a strictly defensive posture, we must become offensive, we must destroy the will of the enemy.
Surgical strikes does little to convince the mass of the peoples the will to decry their leadership, we shot down Yamamoto and did the japanese surrender? Would the US or Britain have surrendered in WW2 if their leaders were captured or killed? We must create mass effect upon the peoples of the nations that are creating world terrorism, remove several cities from the map just the same as Hiroshima, announce which city 5 days in advance, capitulate entirely or suffer the consequences, remove another city every 48 hours until these regimes step down surrender and instruct their population that they are being capitulated.

We need to NOT go through a long drawn our war losing our servicemen to roadside bombs,snipers and such we have nuclear, neutron, and FAE devices that can erase small cities, now is the time to update our offensive strategies to the situations of many conflicts globally. We cannot invade half the earth, we can show our responce of how we intend to enforce freedom, we must send a clear cut image of what the world will do to the regimes of mass destruction and global terrorism.
Again I firmly believe we must create an image of absolute horror to any country that creates, harbors or supply terrorism, we will not send tanks and troops, we are not dropping smart bombs down ventilator shafts to miss the baby food factory above the bio research facility. We will simply remove the community from the face of the earth, all the inhabitants, buildings, infrastructure regardless of whether the people are military combat personnel or not. We can do THAT surgically and cleanly so think about that followers of the radical Islamic faith.
