Enjoy! They're absolutely fabulous recipes. Up here (Northern Illinois) Vidalias are a seasonal thing. When they're available we do these recipes often. The pie we substitute for potatoes. It goes great with a fine grilled roast or steaks.
So does the other recipe. It's taste is similar to French Onion Soup.
