One angle that folks seem to be missing is the impact of HIPAA Privacy LAWS. (signed by WJC). The FAMILY has the right to withhold or publish ANY amount of information about a family member's medical condition. The hospital does not, law enforcement does not, the VP does not, and certainly the PRESS does NOT have a right to know.
I bet the PRESS can't spell HIPAA.

HIPAA Privacy LAWS Few of those who ARE aware of the HIPAA law realize its origins. This is the one part of the Hillary Clinton health care plan that eventually passed! The law is what you'd expect, considering the source.

The hospital announced today that they are checking with Whittington and his family before each press conference to see just what they can and cannot say about his condition.
