Interested to get the Freeper take on this:
Manchester, New Hampshire Feb. 14, 2006
Two New Hampshire Free Staters chose arrest last week rather than allow themselves to be herded into a "Free Speech Zone" while the President was in Manchester. One of the protesters was carrying a sign advocating New Hampshire secession, both were in a non-secure area where civilians were milling around unmolested.

Free Staters (www.FreeStateProject.org) are libertarian activists who move to New Hampshire from other parts of the country because they consider it the state with the most freedom. About 150 have moved here since 2003, with 7,000 more pledged to follow. So far Federal and Local officials have made a total of nine arrests in response to civil disobedience by Free Staters.
'Personal use' pot is pretty much 'legal' in New Hampshire already. The authorities are too busy with meth to worry about pot.
The marxists define "protest" as "prevent other points of view from being heard." Just like the islam-o-nazis and the cartoons.
The coast and mountains are rather nice.

i know, i'm paying for them
If they were in an area where civilians were allowed, then why did they need to set up a FSZ?

They didn't need to.
BTW the people arrested were not cindy sheehan , they weren't even liberals so don't lump them in with her.
They are now scheduled to be in court March 1, charged with disorderly conduct.
On the other hand, people have been handing them money to thank them for what they did. And they'll have support at court, probably a combination of supporters inside and protestors supporting them outside.
