Bookmarked.
It's letters like this that make me think God is working in Iraq.
I look forward to seeing this knock Dick Cheney off the front page--in my dreams!

Wonderful letter ringing with truth. This is exactly what happened to these people. They were living (if you can call it that, when murderers stuff explosives into the bodies of children and toss them into the street), under the boot of a tyrant, and brave American soldiers freed them. Iraqis were given a gift they can never repay, the gift of freedom. Their job is to strengthen it, to protect their country while they rebuild.

This is a very powerful and rewarding letter to all Americans. Would it be the MSM would publish and promote this and let all Americans see what some of the Iraqi folks think of us and our troops. Thank you for posting this beautiful letter.

Thank you *SO* much for posting this! It made me cry my heart out. I have friends (Corpsmen, in fact) that I spoke with right after they came home from Tal Afar and told us of the horrible situation and the FIGHTING! OMG - I've not heard of such brutal fighting since hand to hands with Charlie in the 60s.
The 3rd ACR and 4th ID are my Heroes of the Army - LONG MAY THEY FIGHT! VICTORY!!!!
