Thanks, I will email that link to Walter too (The NoNais.org site).
"Wasn't possession of adult chicks covered by the Mann Act?"
ROFLMAO
NOW you've crossed the line!
bump
A couple of thoughts. How many WACO type standoffs will this lead to. And, how long before it is illegal to grow your own vegetables?
((Pet chickens ping)))
They are working on doing this for plants as well
I'm not sure if I can link that information yet. That is from the 2005 Agricultural Identification Survey Form conversation with the NAIS representative. I will link if I find an online source.
What is NAIS?
Let's add a Z in the middle
.........NAZIS
"NOW you've crossed the line!"
Yup. Arrested for carrying underage gulls across straight lines for immortal porpoises
Not long, they are patenting plants and animals like crazy. First it's a chipped dog, then chips for "the children", then chipped chickens, chipped gov workers. A chip in your vehicle, a chip in your US soldier. Who do you suppose is next?

I'd like to hot brand the idiot that came up with this idea!!! They have us by the short-horns, if I don't register and pay the fee (20. per year) to raise livestock on my farm, the first time I go to the auction barn I'll get nabbed by the Cow Police!
Monsanto is the biggest one for gene patenting

How do you say No NAIS in Japanese?
All locations containing livestock animals must register as farms. $10 annual premise ID and premise registration fee will be required for all homes where any animal ever exists, even if just visiting.
How the hell am I suppose to know if a chicken ever visited my home? The house is 30 yrs. old and We've only been here 7.
That's true and they often have livestock.
There is a PAWs version of this for pet owners too.
There's a company called "ChickenSnoop". They can send in a team, test for nitrogen, and for only a small fee, 5,000 dollars or so, alert you to and chicken sh** that may have occurred on the premises. Check with your local good old boy down at Ace Hardware or State Capitol for more details.
