Sinatra's fabled career---its peaks and valleys--- allegedly served as the basis for the Johnny Fontane character (played by Al Martino) in the 1972 movie, "The Godfather." Fontane's floundering career in the film is put right thanks to "mob" muscle.
Frank's problem at the time was Ava Gardner not young babes though.
