Ah, The Supranos are fiction. What, do I get to use Edgar G. Robinson?

Criminals go where the money and the power to make, take and keep money. There is no way you are going to have a subset of people called "government" and not have the mob take them over. World wide mob and government are one and the same. When the supposed protector of the people, the government can take, make, break it's supposed masters the people, it much of a transition.

The mob also says it exists to protect the people, and in fact does do service. Organized crime history is replete with them providing services. To be blunt if you run a business in say little Italy, and you have problems with black gangs. No more black gangs. Go to the police and they say wait until you are robed, shot, broke in, then file a report, then we, then maybe a court case...bla,bla,bla. Hence in many older East coast cities, black/minority gangs, do not often just cross a street to exand their criminal operations. Mind you the city police and court systems are present over both neighborhoods, but for some mysterious reason the crimials will, or less so, cross literaly a street to the richer pickings. Wonder why?

There is much truth in fiction. What is completely true about the Sopranos is the methods it illustrates the mobsters use to destroy legitimate businesses and defraud others and the public.

In fact, the very people which the mob started out fleecing were the Italians immigrants who were too poor to utilize the legal system. It did not help them unless helping them helped the mobster.

Your analysis of government is equally idiotic and false when comprehensible. Just more lunatic raving.
