I agree with you. I don't rule it out either.

In fact, I posted some suspicions of their behavior when the whole thing was going on. And I would like to know exactly why Shep Smith and Geraldo got so hysterical...far beyond what was called for.

FWIW, my mother just told me that my very non-political brother was ranting about the way the media's running this story into the ground. He's a hunting and fishing nut, and he said "These two guys are just hunting buddies who had an accident, and these idiot reporters don't know what the h*ll they're talking about. They just don't realize how stupid they sound."

If somebody like my brother is having those thoughts, there's probably a lot more folks just like him out here in flyover country. Like Common Tator says, the MSM is out of touch with reality.

That is precisely what went on, with Gramma's LEOs blocking one bridge and Gretna LEOs blocking the other bridge.

The DUmmies had talking papers floating everywhere around DC outlining the posse comitatus violations, but Bush never took the bait.

What the MSM should worry about, and what they'll find out the hard way in these elections, is that so many people in the US are exactly aware of every detail that happened in NO, certainly far more that those MSM losers that had to be called back from their month-long vacations on Nantucket and Fire Island to cover the story.
