Progressives see the world through a nurturing parent model, in which the adults raise their offspring to care for others and value social responsibility
The government knows best. Sounds like commies to me.

Progressive. There's another word hijacked by the left. The left is the biggest roadblock to progress.

They should first pair up in threes and stand in a circle. Then they can line up from ugliest to dumbest. If they figure all that out, they can then explain to America how having a Presidential Candidate like Dennis Kucinich, who claimed he was endorsed by Grandfather Twilight, will make The Democratic Party a stronger and more influential institution.

How vague is that? I bet their idea of "social responsibility" is FAR diffent from mine. What a nothing statement.

Children need nurture, else they try to act like adults. Without wisdom only years can provide they often make stupid mistakes that harm them.
Adults need responsibility, else they act like children.

The Communists decided, after McCarthy, to use the term "progressive" instead of communist.
If it talks the communist Party Line, it is a communist.

Chirping crickets and one hand clapping. Should be a great place to catch up on sleep.
To: SmithL
Most informed adults are aware that anything and
everything "progressive" is simply socialism/communism in a new dress.
Not even the good grace of new lipstick.
Why not be honest, call it a socialist\communist think-tank, see where it goes and forget the euphemisms?
A good first task is an honest examination of why the whole concept (by whatever name) failed in its place of origin, Russia. Why it failed everywhere else it's been tried (unless they wish to argue that Cuba is a "success"...

Wrong, there's been many progressives that have put it all together, Stalin being one of them.

Because, as we all know, the Left doesn't have any media or communications outlets, and just can't get its message out at all.

Here's the "progression":
Communist => Socialist => Liberal => Progressive
Each term being discarded once the general populace fully understood what was meant by it.
