No conspiracy theory; it's just been apparent to people experienced in trauma that the story of the injury was being minimized. Even if you are a rich attorney, you're not in the trauma ICU for three days for privacy or convenience; that's what private rooms and security guards are for. Privacy actually sucks in the ICU; you're constantly under observation unless you're on the commode, and even then you have to ask for help to bring it in and out. You don't stay in the ICU for fun, you're there because you're that sick.

<< They also said that the patient was expected to fully recover. >>

Optimism is a good thing for the patient and family. We obviously pray for this, but we are talking about a 78-year-old guy. Even being laid up like this is a risk. He needs to be in our prayers, not in our jokes.

Please cite the source, with a link, please, that backs up your assertion that the story of the injury was being 'minimized,' and by whom.

Your entire premise is that there was some sort of deceit in the original story. I'd like you to back that up with data.

You're obviously taking a shot at someone here. Please clarify who that is.
