It may be that some wear the CCCP clothes to pi## off the Russians. But that Weir guy....not sure about that. He just pi$#@d me off. And I could not stand to cheer for him.
Maybe I will become hip and start wearing the CCCP tshirts and sweats, or even better, my CCCP sweats with my Che Guivera tshirts!

Don't forget to sport a Fidel hat! Oh, and of course, a fine Cuban cigar.

I was half listening to his an interview last night with Weir prior to his skate. He made some reference to "southern Republicans", I assume it wasn't a support Bush comment.Did you catch that?
I did and it made me sick. I hope Weir falls on his face tonight.

Funny how he is openly Gay and yet is sporting a coat in support of a country where homosexuality could land a person in prison for life or forced into a mental facility.
I wouldn't be suprised if tonight he skates in a Burkah (spelling???)

Russia lost.
And the USA is trailing Latvia.
Some great hockey being played. I love watching the NHL players go wild on the larger European rinks.
Cheers.

The USA game shows how quickly things can change.
Latvia, without Irbe, isn't even in this game. But with him, they have a shot at winning it.
There's always a team in the prelims that upsets one of the bigs and we may be seeing it here.

Thanks for the ping. I think my entire town will be watching my son's friend Danny Joye in the mens double luge if we could figure out when he'll be on. Originally scheduled for 4:00. Here's his photo:

Cool! Was his event televised yet? I think men's double luge is supposed to be televised during the prime time show tonight. I will look for Danny!

I saw the double luge. Do you want to know? Went to NBC to check the schedule where I learned the news. Since this is his debut I'm not surprised but am so disappointed not to have seen him. Hopefully they'll show a little more this evening and not during Dancing with the Stars!
