But c'mon, you know full well the kind of sleazy evasion of well-known facts & obvious conclusions therefrom that holocaust deniers resort to in order to sustain their denial. Even the eyewitness reports are deflected by admitting that "some" Jews died in the camps because after all it was wartime, yadda yadda yadda.
Well, gosh, that sounds just like certain creationists. There are no transitional fossils doncha know and speciation has never been observed and if you accept evolution you must reject God blah blah blah.
Note that this evasion is precisely equivalent to the creationist use of the ad hoc categories "microevolution" and "macroevolution". Holocaust deniers can't avoid conceding the reality of the "microgenocide" represented by firmly documented individual cases, but insist that the generally accepted "macrogenocide" inferred therefrom did not happen.
