Well as much as I respect the saftey razor... and the barber straight edge, I can tell you... nothing compares to a Mach 3.

I am not replacing it with a Sensor 4 blade or the new 5 blade nonsense.

Honestly I would not have ever bought the Mach 3, but got one as a free sample back when Gillette first introduced them... and all it took was 1 swipe down the cheek to know THIS was not like anything else out there.

I always shave directly after showering, hair is nice and moist... Can shave off a month's worth of stubble with a few strokes this way, and no irritation. I use Gel instead of cream.. used to dry shave, but no more... I'll give em a few bucks to save me some irritation... plus it doubles as cologne.

I agree. I started shaving with two-blade disposables, and always got shaving bumps. Then an electric worked, but never got close enough.

Tried the Mach 3, and never looked back.
