I agree. I started shaving with two-blade disposables, and always got shaving bumps. Then an electric worked, but never got close enough.

Tried the Mach 3, and never looked back.

Coincidentally, I also have a beard for the first time in my life (I'm 23), but that is because my girlfriend moved to Florida for school. I think it looks nice, she says it makes me look too old.

I'm 23 and my beard is the only thing that makes me look my age.

Oh yes, absolutely!

I'm probably one of the very few women on this thread and so, unlike all of the guys, I know what girls/women REALLY feel and think about hairsuit/stubble covered males.

I've grown a full beard, and I DON'T look like Jeremiah Johnson. I look pretty damn good with the goatee though. ;-)

Just how LONG is "long enough"?

Have you ever been kissed by a man who has a mustache? I have.

There ARE exceptions; as I said.

I did look at your pictures. I shall refrain from commenting.

It all depends.......

Some men CAN carry off having facial hair and look dashing; most can't. But then there is the way it feel, which isn't most women's cup of tea.

They shave more than their legs with the razor...

Amen to that. That's one reason that I made sure that the razor was fresh; as an encouragement to shave where the legs come together. ;-)

As left handed as your statement may be, trust me on this much: I'm far uglier without the beard. You can't hurt my feelings because I'm not vain, at least not physically.

No, can't say I've been kissed by a man with a mustache... but I have had a goatie or full beard for many years, and never had any complaints from any ladies over it.

When its stubble or short, definately.

Me, I keep my trimmer generally set to "2", long enough so that pressure against it causes it to give, and not so short that it effectilely won't give and just pricks ya like a bazillion needles. I would say anything 2 and over you are golden... less than that, you run into the poking/irritation problem...

It wasn't a "left handed" anything. I am blunt and honest, but refrained from commenting on your looks, as doing so, in any context ( i.e. good, bad, or indifferent ), is rude.

You're happily married and your wife loves you the way you are.

Likewise, I am happily married, not interested in other men, and there's no need for me to comment on your looks.

I'll take your word for how you look without the beard. LOL

My father had a mustache...it felt like needles, but looked GREAT.

Stubble feels THE worst!
